Assol
was born in Kazakhstan but now lives in Veliky in Novgorod, 200
km from St Petersburg. Assol studied Graphic Design at the University
in Novgorod. She was inspired to take up photography in 1998 by
her husband, who is a professional photographer. Assol started working
in Alternative Processes in 2000.
I had to experiment a lot with bromoils print because the last book on Alternative Processes printed in Russia is from 1936.
